Spanish week in Mojacar, andalusia

What your days could look like

Mornings begin with coffee on a sunny terrace and a simple Spanish breakfast — fresh bread with olive oil and tomato, perhaps churros if you're feeling indulgent.

After an engaging language session, you'll head out to put your Spanish into practice: conversations in local cafés, small challenges around town, and guided activities that bring the language to life.

Afternoons might include a walk along the beach, informal conversation practice with the group, or exploring the charming streets of Mojácar together.

Expect a warm and inspiring group of people, shared meals, laughter, and plenty of Spanish woven naturally into every moment.

For those who want more than a language course.

For those who want to experience Spanish.

Mojácar is calling.

who we are

We are Nadine van Kleef and Fernanda Andrés Magide. We've been friends since our children were very young, and our friendship is still going strong.

Fernanda will be your Spanish teacher during this week. She lives part of the year in Mojácar, so she knows the area and its people very well.

Nadine is a graphic and interior designer from the Netherlands with a big heart for Spain and the Spanish language. Thanks to her experience as a teacher and her experience travelling with groups, she will be your co-host throughout the week. She speaks English, Dutch, and Spanish.

fernanda about nadine

Nadine is one of the kindest and most fun-loving people I know. Her creativity, good taste, and enthusiasm for life are truly inspiring.

As a graphic and interior designer, she has a remarkable eye for beauty and design. She notices the little details that make a place, an event, or an experience feel special and memorable.

At the same time, she has an extraordinary talent for organising projects. We complement each other beautifully, and that is one of the reasons we work on our Spanish Week together

about mojacar

Mojácar Pueblo is one of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia, located in the province of Almería on Spain’s southeastern coast. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, it offers breathtaking views, winding streets, whitewashed houses and charming plazas.

With a history dating back more than 4,000 years, Mojácar has been shaped by many civilizations. Its strongest influence comes from the Moorish period, when much of southern Spain was under Arab rule. Thanks to its proximity to North Africa, the village still reflects a fascinating blend of Spanish and Moroccan heritage, visible in its architecture, narrow alleyways and unique atmosphere.

The province of Almería is known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic landscapes, hidden coves and more sunshine than almost anywhere else in Europe. It is also a region rich in culture and tradition, celebrated for its handcrafted ceramics, vibrant flamenco culture, colourful markets and Mediterranean cuisine. Think fresh seafood, paella, tapas and long evenings spent on lively village squares.

Mojácar is a place where history, culture and the relaxed Andalusian lifestyle come together. During our Spanish Week, we will not only discover the flavours of Spain, but also experience the stories, traditions and unique spirit that make this region so special.
